Clinical pharmacists specialise in medicines and how they work. They work as part of the general practice team to resolve day-to-day medicine issues and consult with and treat patients directly. This includes providing extra help to manage long-term conditions, advice for those on multiple medications and better access to health checks. The role of the clinical pharmacist is still relatively new to general practice and will evolve as Lisa works as part of the General practice team to make sure your medicines help you get better and stay well. Lisa is an experienced pharmacist and also works for North Staffordshire CCG.
